The Lead Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist assists the physician on the sterile field during procedure and circulates within the procedure room. The Lead Technologist will procure all equipment/supplies and is knowledgeable of all accounting processes. The Lead Technologist in conjunction with the Supervisor and Manager maintains protocols and procedures to meet Federal, State and local requirements. The Lead Technologist maintains a high degree of accuracy and awareness of all radiation and patient safety issues involved with any invasive procedure. The Lead Technologist demonstrates a thorough understanding and working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, interventional supplies, and equipment.
Education & Training: Graduate of JRC approved program in Radiology Technology
Experience: Prefer two years recent experience as Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist
License & Certification: Registered with ARRT, KY Radiation Operators Certification, RCIS registry, BLS certified and ACLS within two years of employment
