The Laboratory Phlebotomy Supervisor will provide the technical and personnel leadership for the Phlebotomy and Central Processing Departments. The position will be responsible for, but not limited to: Support and Oversight of Process Improvement Initiatives, Development of Standards of Work, Quality Assurance, Workflow Coordination, Department Training and Orientation, Timekeeping Recording, and Interaction with Vendors. This position will provide input to the Laboratory Manager for staff evaluations, capital and operating budgets.
Education: BS or BA in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Medical Technology preferred with four years of experience required.
Experience: Previous 1 year of supervisory experience required or 3 years in a leadership role in the discipline.
License & Registration: If degree in Medical Technology, applicant will need to be certified with AMT or ASCP.
